วิธีปลูกหอมแดง (How to grow shallots from seed)

หอมแดงนี้เจ้าได้แต่ใดมา
แม้ข้าสอนว่า
หอมแดงที่อยุู่ในครัวของทุกบ้าน
นำมาปลูกต่อกันเถอะ
จาก 1 หัว กลายเป็น 50 หัว
จาก 10 หัว กลายเป็น 500 หัว ในบัดดล

วิธีปลูกไม่ยากเลย
- แม่ข้าให้เตรียมแปลงก่อน
ใส่อึน้องวัว และน้องเดือด (หรือปุ๋ยที่มี แนะนำปุ๋ยอิินทีย์นะจ้ะ)
- แกะเปลือกหอมแดงออกจากขั้ว เหลือแต่ผิวบางๆสีน้ำตาลแดงในสุด
(น้องหอมไม่ว่าจ้ะ ออกจะเย็นสบายตัว)
- ระยะปลูกระหว่างหัว 1 คืบ จากนั้นนำด้านที่มีรากจิ้มดินลึกประมาณ 3 ใน 4 ของลำตัวน้องหอม
- หลังจากนั้นคลุมฟาง หญ้าแห้ง ใบไหม หรือเศษไม้ ตามที่หาได้
- แล้วรดน้ำ เป็นอันเสร็จพิธี
แม่คุณเอ้ย!! ผ่านไปไม่ถึงอาทิตย์ งอกงามอร่ามตากันเป็นแถว

สำหรับใครที่มีพื้นที่น้อย ลองในกระถางก่อนนะจ้ะ
ที่จริงบ้านข้าน้อยก็ไม่ได้มีที่เยอะ เราหาที่ว่างๆพอมีแสงจ้ะ
ไม่มีอะไรยากเกินกว่าการลงมือทำนะจ้ะ
มีปัญหาถามข้าน้อยได้จ้ะ

How to grow shallots from seed
- gather your supplies/prepare your growing bed such as soil, cow manure, vermicompost or any compost you have
- Separate the shallot bulbs. peel each one away from their main head because each head contain many bulbs.
- space each bulb about one space span. Bury each bulb into the soil about three-quarters with its root down and its head up to the air.
- top with straw or hay or what you have like leaves, or wood chips. They help protect the cold and frost over the winter.
- water them regularly
- please wait and you see they are growing up.
